We surveyed the benefits of management performed by an occupational therapist for the purpose of improving daily life-related behaviors of ambulatory rehabilitation users under the current nursing-care insurance system (i.e., Management Tool for Daily Life Performance: MTDLP). This survey revealed the need for home visits, especially the initial visit, and that visiting together with staff of different specialties contributed to the collective improvement of professional skills. The roles played by staff of different specialties could be clarified by employing the Management Tool for Daily Life Performance, indicating that this promotes opportunities to work together.
