Many elementary school teachers also feel poor at teaching science. I had a questionnaire about how the students in my college think about science. The percentage of the students who liked science was more than that of the students who didn’t like it, and the tendency was distinctive in the students of the primary education course. For the people who will be elementary school teachers to get enough knowledge and learn good ways to attract students’ interest in science, both high schools and the teacher-training course should give students more opportunities to take observations and experiments.
