This time, we analyzed and studied the effects of sources of sound other than music box sounds on the autonomic nervous system function of the cardiovascular system.There are two types of audio sources: rain sounds and wave sounds. Rain sound listening involved 35 participants, while wave sound listening involved 28 participants. In the case of rain sounds, high-resolution music showed significantly higher values in the low-frequency component of heart rate variability analysis (LF), the high-frequency component (HF), and the coefficient of variation of heart rate (CVaa) compared to high-cut music. In the case of wave sounds, high-resolution music showed significantly higher values in LF, HF, the ratio of low-frequency component to high-frequency component (LF/HF), and CVaa compared to high-cut music.Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that high-resolution music resembling natural sounds like rain and waves leads to increased activity in both the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, resulting in an overall enhancement of autonomic nervous system function. Conversely, listening to high-cut music, which is artificially processed rain or wave sounds, appears to decrease the activity of both the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, leading to an overall reduction in autonomic nervous system
