The subjects were first-year to fourth-year students enrolled in the physical therapy department of a four-year university, and the College Life Anxiety Scale (CLAS) was assessed through a questionnaire survey. The results of this study showed that students' anxiety about their college life was higher among first-year students in terms of evaluations such as credit acquisition and examinations, and was higher as their grades increased in terms of maladjustment to the university department and faculty. This suggests that it is important to provide first-year students with guidance on their learning methods.
