| 内容記述 | 地域貢献は大学の基本的役割として位置づけられ，知識の付与，知的・応用的能力の発展とその成果を提供し，社会に寄与することが求められている。本報告では，近隣公民館における看護大学生のボランティア活動の報告と，地域高齢者を対象とした大学への期待に関する調査結果をもとに，地域貢献活動の今後の課題について検討した。公民館開講の老人大学を受講している 65 歳以上の高齢者を対象としたアンケート調査から，大学へ期待することとして「学生との交流」が最も多かった。学生はボランティア活動を通して地域住民と交流を深め，地域貢献への達成感，地域への愛着や関心が高まっていることが推察された。今後は，大学と地域住民が互いに交流する機会を設け，学生のボランティアへの関心を高める支援が必要であり，参加学生が主体性を持ち積極的に誘い合えるような雰囲気づくりが重要である。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Community contribution, a fundamental role of universities, is realized through providing knowledge and developing intellectual and applied abilities. This study examines community contribution activities based on volunteer activities of nursing university students at nearby community centers and survey results targeting the community elderly. A questionnaire survey was carried out with community elderlies aged 65 years and older who are attending a university for the elderly organized by the community centers. The most cited expectation from universities was “interaction with students.” Students built relationships with local residents through volunteer activities. Students’ sense of accomplishment was found to increase as a result of contributing to the community. Likewise, their attachment to and interest in the community also increased.It is necessary to provide opportunities for universities and local residents to interact. Furthermore, it is important to provide a conducive environment for students to take initiative and actively participate in the community, which will raise their interest in volunteering. | |||||
