| 内容記述 | 人の生活は，食事や排泄などの生活を営むうえでの不可欠で基本的な行動にあたる基本的日 常生活動作（ActivitiesofDailyLiving：以下，ADL）と，調理やスケジュール管理などの複 雑な行為にあたる手段的日常生活動作（InstrumentalActivitiesofDailyLiving：以下， IADL）に大別できる。身体機能面が重視されるADLに比べ，計画力や注意機能などが求め られるIADLは認知症発症の初期段階から障害がみられる。このIADL障害の程度は，環境 や個人要因などによって異なる。認知症者のIADL障害を軽減する目的で行われる環境整備は， 彼らのできることの維持につながるが，現状では環境整備に関する知識を認知症者や介護家族 が早期に知り得る機会が少ない。著者は認知症の初期段階にある者がIADLを続けるための環 境整備に関するイラスト集作成を計画している。その第１段階として，調理に関する環境整備 のアンケート調査を実施した。援助内容を集約した結果，７場面に分けることができた。これ らの場面についてイラスト化を試みた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | One’s activities of daily living (ADL) are classified into 2 major categories: basic (self-care-related activities, such as eating and excretion) and instrumental (more complex activities, such as cooking and schedule management). Compared with the former that place importance on physical functions, the latter, requiring planning and attention, tend to be impaired from the early stage of dementia. The degree of IADL impairment varies depending on environmental and personal factors. Environmental arrangements for persons with dementia to prevent such impairment contribute to the maintenance of their remaining abilities. However, opportunities for persons with dementia and their care-giving families to acquire knowledge of environmental arrangements are insufficient at present. Planning to create a collection of illustrations regarding environmental arrangements for persons with early-stage dementia to maintain their IADL, as the first step we conducted a questionnaire survey on cooking-focused environmental arrangements. The contents of support for these persons were classified into 7 patterns, each of which was illustrated for explanation. | |||||
